Physical exercise to improve memory

A great way to improve memory is a physical exercise. It is an exceptional way to increase memory.  Exercises can reverse changes in the brain that cause cognitive decline.

Exercise increases blood flow and oxygen to the brain and stimulates nervous system. This releases endorphins onto the blood stream that creates that overall feeling of well-being.

Exercise can help us to get back our memory where it should be. We can take a walk and free ourself from any frustration that we may be experiencing.

By increasing the supply of oxygen to the brain, exercise helps reducing risk for disease and disorders that eventually lead to memory loss.

According to studies, high levels of physical activity could be more protective against cognitive decline than lower levels (Scarmeas, Luchsinger & Schupf, 2009; Taaffe 2008; Weuve, 2004).

When we’re not exercising, our brain is not receiving much blood. Blood needs to flow to the brain so we can think straight.  We have to move around and not be stagnant. Researchers from the Netherlands’ found that physical fitness could improve memory by boosting blood flow to the rain and increasing brain volume.

Visualize pleasant experience to sharpen your memory

Visualization of the information as it is while reading or listening can help boost the memorizing power. If this is something which is often overlooked this can be added to the mainframe of thinking.

Visualize some pleasant experiences that had recently. The visualization will be more effective if the person can get the sensations at the time, the feelings, the emotions, the smells, the sounds, the sights, the colors.

This will freshen the mind and make it easier to retain information.

Visualization which is used of imagination and memory, remembering, or imagining pleasant experiences activates many of the same sensory, motor, emotional and cognitive circuits that fired during the ‘real’ pleasant experience.

Healthier lifestyle can improve memory

A healthy lifestyle can reduce the risk of delay, and may even prevention chronic diseases like heart disease, diabetes, cancer, stroke and obesity all of which have a profound impact on brain health.

Healthier lifestyle can create the mind that is alert and energetic.   It can improve memory, mental clarity, energy and mood.

By treating the body well, it should be able to enhance the ability at being able to process and recall information. Eating a good diet, minimizing stress, getting enough sleep, cutting down on alcohol and caffeine and throwing away that last pack of cigarette will al help improve brain and memory function.

Taking a regular exercise helps to increase the flow of oxygen to the brain. This, in turn, reduces the risk from suffering from disorders which can lead to memory loss, such as cardiovascular diseases or diabetes.

Research shows that to keep memory in tip-top shape, the body need to get enough rest and good quality sleep, including enough dreaming sleep. Sleeping at least eight hour, will give fresh on the next day with a sharpened memory.

Use imagination and be creative. Learn to visualize when reading the books. Creating imagination is the forging of a link between two previously unconnected ideas for a purpose that might not be apparent at the time

Imagination is the ability to form new images and sensations that are not perceived through sight, hearing or other senses.

It helps make knowledge applicable in solving problems and is fundamental to integrating experience and learning process.

Imagination is the key to both improving memory and improving creativity too. A vivid imagination is going to be a key skill for the 21th century and anything that uses to develop the imagination is also great brain ‘exercise’.

Many memory techniques require the person to think of the most outrageous and exaggerated images to help them remember certain facts or information. The funnier and more out-of-this-world the images, there is better chances to retain data in the mind.
